Wood Road Sings to Save Water! 03/17/2010

This week Kiba Kiba Books is visiting Wood Road Elementary School in New York. 500+ children (29 classes, grades K-5) are helping to write a school-wide
original song and burping and slurping to save the waters of the world.

On the last day of my two week stay at St. Georges School in Vancouver, British Columbia, I found a rain stick and saw a bald eagle on the school property! What a fitting way to end the workshops - I hope the children now have lots of wisdom to share with their friends about how to save the waters of the earth!

Lack of sanitation is the number 1 cause of water related diseases
around the world. Proper education in third world countries is
needed so children do not continue to die.
